Revolent wins Diversity Employer of the Year Award for two years running

We’re proud to announce that Revolent has won Diversity Employer of the Year at the annual Computing Women in Tech Excellence Awards for the second consecutive year.

“Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of what we do and who we are, and it’s great to be recognized for this,” says Nabila Salem, President of Revolent Group and this year’s Diversity Employer of the Year.

The Women in Tech Excellence Awards were set up to recognize the many talented women working in the tech industry and celebrate their success stories. Now in their fifth year, the awards have celebrated the success of more than 1,200 women. We want to congratulate all 2021 winners and finalists across 34 categories for the incredible work that they do every day.

With women making up half of our own management team at Revolent, we wholeheartedly believe that women can have rewarding and sustainable careers in the tech industry. Our mission has always been to tackle the two biggest challenges facing the cloud industry today – the skills gap and the lack of diversity.

“We believe that great minds think differently, and it is indeed our differences that make us stronger as a team, not our similarities,” comments Nabila. “We do not look for a cultural fit when hiring. We want people to bring innovation, creativity, and diversity of thought to the table.”

As a result, 63% of our Revols are from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background and over 30% are female. Our own team is made up of people from 20 different nationalities with 50% women in the management team. 

“I’m incredibly proud of my team and all that we’ve achieved over the past two years,” adds Nabila. “And it’s fantastic to be recognized for that effort. Awards, such as this, give the people within our business who are working really hard the recognition that they deserve.”
