How Vrunda became a 6x certified Salesforce Developer
Who is Vrunda Patel?
Prior to joining Revolent, Vrunda was based in India where she majored in computer science for her bachelor’s degree. Before graduating, she went on to complete a master’s in technology at L.D. College of Engineering.
Soon after, she got married and emigrated to Canada. That’s where she came across our our world-class Salesforce Careers Program. After receiving two job offers, she decided to go with Revolent, because she saw the biggest growth potential for her career with the incredible opportunities in the Salesforce ecosystem. This is her story.
Fully-funded, practical Salesforce training

Once trained, Vrunda was deployed to work for a global professional services company that provides market-leading IT services and consulting to a wide range of clients.
She was able to apply her new Salesforce knowledge, further developing her Salesforce Developer specialties as a fully-qualified Application Developer.

What’s next on Vrunda's Salesforce career path?
Vrunda’s ultimate ambition is to become a Technical Architect and a Salesforce MVP, and she loves every aspect of being part of the immensely supportive Salesforce Ohana.
Since she started out in Salesforce, Vrunda has become a real pillar for the Salesforce community, sharing everything she’s learned along the way with those just starting out, and encouraging others looking to start a career in tech.
Whether that be responding to a question posted in a Salesforce community discussion board, sharing her top tips in her newsletter, The Salesforce Buzz, being a mentor at Canada Infonet, a Trailblazer Mentorship 1:1 Mentor, or just chatting with someone who’s looking for a bit of advice that would motivate them to carry on with a tough job search.
Vrunda has also given a talk to a filled out auditorium in Canada at Immigrants in Tech Summit 2022 (organized by Scale Without Borders), sharing her experience with others, who are finding themselves in similar situations to where she was just over a year ago.
Her kindness, hard work, and commitment to supporting the community has not gone unnoticed. She has been selected to be featured in the University of Toronto Mississauga SEDI Lab’s Kindness Hall of Fame for helping one of her peers prep for her certification, being more than willing to jump on a call to give her inputs and share useful tips.

I’ve not only received the training to become a Salesforce Developer but also the inspiration to expand and discover what I can build and create.
