Revolent receives three nominations in Women in Tech Excellence Awards

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Revolent and its President have been nominated across three different categories in this year’s Women in Tech Excellence Awards.

Run by Computing magazine, the event is now into its fourth year, recognizing businesses and individuals making a difference in tech. Revolent has been nominated as Diversity Employer of the Year whilst Nabila Salem, President, has been shortlisted in both the Role Model of the Year and Transformation Leader categories.

“I’m humbled to have been nominated on a personal level,” said Nabila. “However, this is not about me. It is testament to Revolent’s ongoing commitment as a team towards diversifying tech and making our industry a more inclusive place to work for everyone. We’ve been incredibly vocal about our focus on diversifying the ecosystem and to be acknowledged for that is extremely rewarding.”

The Diversity Employer of the Year award recognizes organizations who are leading the way in creating an environment where a diverse workforce, and women in particular, can flourish and produce results. As a company that believes in the power that diversity can bring to an organization, we’re delighted that 50% of our leadership team is female.

As for Nabila’s nominations, the Role Model of the Year is fantastic recognition for her determination to break down barriers and create opportunities for others. And considering the revolution she has guided us through over the last 12 months, a nod for Transformation Leader of the Year is also very well deserved.

“We’re all very proud of the work Nabila has done with Revolent this year,” added James Lloyd-Townshend, Chairman and CEO. “Despite incredibly challenging circumstances, she has led her team magnificently and put us into an even stronger position as a result, as well as creating the sort of workplace and opportunities that every employer should be actively striving to do.”

The awards will be hosted online this year, with the virtual event set to take place on December 1, 2020, immediately after the Women in Tech Festival.
