Questions about our tech talent creation programs
Since the pandemic forced many organizations worldwide to move either to partial or fully-remote working, the tech skills gap has grown considerably, with lots of companies struggling to find professionals who can improve their digital processes and fast-track their digital transformation, and support the adoption of AI technologies.
Consequently, the creation of trained professionals has become a top priority for the tech sector. As organizations continue to invest in cloud and AI capabilities, roles in specialist technologies are some of the best-paid jobs in tech.
People who work with technologies like AWS, Databricks, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Salesforce, or Snowflake can take their pick from a range of job roles with a variety of companies that offer amazing salaries. Plus, they get to work with some of the most innovative technologies in the world, including AI.
You can find more information on reasons to pivot your career to a specialist technology on our blog page.
The criteria for each careers program is laid out on the relevant careers page. For Developer roles, we generally ask that all candidates have previous object-oriented programming and commercial experience, and have been through at least one software development lifecycle.
Through our two-year programs, we recruit, cross-train, and place skilled tech professionals in world-leading specialist technologies, such as AWS, Databricks, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Salesforce, and Snowflake, with AI training included to reflect evolving industry demand.
Our consultants, known as ‘Revols’, become part of an elite network. They complete an initial training course, led by our expert instructors, before earning their first industry-recognized certifications. This is followed by a work placement on-site with one or more of our world-leading clients for a period of up to two years. The placement helps Revols to refine their skills, undertake additional certifications, and gain valuable industry experience in a real business setting, including applying AI in real-world projects.
Due to the high volume of interest we receive, unfortunately we are unable to respond to each candidate individually. However, if your skill set and prior experience align with one of our open roles, a member of our Talent Acquisition team will reach out to you to discuss the next steps.
In the meantime, check out our blog which is packed with more information about what it’s like to cross-train with Revolent, as well as useful tips to help you kick-start your journey in a specialist technology.
You can find a full list of the available training pathways on our pathway page.
After you register interest in one of our careers programs, if we have a role available that matches your existing skill set, one of our Talent Acquisition consultants will contact you.

We ask Revols to commit to up to two years (working on one or more of our client’s sites) in order to get the full value out of Revolent’s innovative tech cross-training model. For clients, this ensures a continuity of service with our Revols. For our Revols, it ensures they have up to two years of commercial experience to help them progress further in their career.
If a Revol chooses to leave during the client placement period of up to two years, they will be responsible for the repayment of training costs to allow Revolent to recoup some of the investment we have made thus far. Our Talent Acquisition consultants will discuss the details of the repayment schedule with each candidate during the interview process. In addition, this is outlined clearly in our employment contracts.
All training will starts with a two-week trial period, so Revols can become acclimatized to working in their chosen field. This also gives them time to figure out if the program feels right for them.
During this two-week period, a Revol can choose to leave at any point, without incurring any fees. However, if they decide to leave after the two-week period, they become liable for repaying any costs associated with the training they’ve received so far (see question above for more details).
Revols are paid from the moment they start with Revolent (yes, this includes training!) and throughout their entire journey with us, including the work placement with a client.
Salaries are dependent upon the role as well as the candidate’s previous work experience. During the interview process, the candidate’s Talent Acquisition consultant will discuss the salary for the available role.
All our training takes place virtually. When someone joins Revolent, they become part of a cohort of ‘Revols’ in the same learning pathway, allowing them to expand their network and work collaboratively on a range of projects.
The length of our training pathways differs, depending on the curriculum and the specific tech certifications offered. Candidates will receive more information about their training pathway from their dedicated Talent Acquisition consultant.
Our Revols are the most important part of our business, which is why we invest heavily in their professional development, from day one.
All Revols get access to our various support networks, including our Learning & Development (L&D) and Consultant Success (CS) teams, technical trainers, and our own Learning Management System, Elevate. Using this system, Revols can access on-demand training content on popular topics to continue growing their technical and soft skills.
All Revols are required to complete the entire training curriculum within their pathway. This helps us to ensure that all of our Revols have the skill sets required to be successful in their on-site roles with our clients.

Our Talent Acquisition consultants will go through our complete compensation package, including vacation days with each candidate during the interview process.
Please note that Revols may not take time off during training, or in the first month of their deployment, as this ensures they stay up to date with coursework and receive the full benefit from our Careers Program. If candidates have any planned time off during these periods, they should discuss this with their Talent Acquisition consultant at the earliest possible opportunity.
If a Revol needs to leave Revolent because of circumstances that are outside of their control, our team will work with them to find a suitable solution. This may include taking leave and returning at a later date.
