Meet our Revols
Aarti Verma
AWS Solutions Architect and Revolent alumna
Once trained on AWS, Aarti was deployed to work for one of the world’s leading professional services companies where she has since converted to a managerial position on a permanent basis.
From day one, Aarti was able to apply her new AWS knowledge, further developing her cloud capabilities. Day-to-day, she was required to write Terraform modules, conduct module testing, and create technical documentation for the projects she was involved with. She’s also been mentoring other trainees in Git and Terraform which has been a rewarding experience.
A particular project that enabled Aarti to learn a lot in a very short timeframe was creating a complex infrastructure on AWS that would generate accounts in just a few clicks. Working together with other Revols, she had to ensure that everything was automated and based on the major skill sets or tags such as Git, Terraform, and DevOps code pipelines. There was a lot of back and forth with the client to work out exactly what they wanted and how that could be implemented, a process which Aarti enjoyed.
Driven by an ambition to become a cloud specialist while also seeking better work-life balance as a working mother, Aarti joined Revolent to train as an AWS Solutions Architect. Prior to this, Aarti was working as an Equipment Technician for one of UK’s leading providers of gas monitoring data.

Alex Diamond

Prior to this, he’d also worked at a software company as the Marketing Manager for several years.
While Alex recognized that he was good at content creation and social media management, he naturally gravitated towards CRM and Marketing Automation setup. So much so that he started looking at ways he could make this his full-time role… which led him to Revolent’s cross-training program!

Having acquired crucial soft skills, like effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management, Ariel left the automotive industry to pursue a career in Software Development. Ayesha Thariya
Test Automation Engineer
Since joining Revolent, Ayesha has developed skills in Java, Python, CI/CD, and Selenium. Her skills have advanced so quickly that she is now leading a team as a Test Automation Engineer for a global financial services institution. Her previous experience, combined with Revolent’s leadership training, has helped to guide her team and offer technical support, enabling them to design project flows, select appropriate tools, and develop test cases.
Before she joined Revolent, Ayesha was a Software Developer with a few specialties such as C, C#, Kofax, and .Net framework. She joined Revolent because she wanted to explore and move ahead in her career. He feels that the Revolent program has set him up for success, helping him to prepare for the Salesforce certifications he’s gained, as well as the consultative and soft skills training, aimed towards the consulting side of business. He is now blazing a new career path in the cloud, working as a certified Salesforce Developer after cross-training with Revolent.

Miraj Abdullah
Cloud Solution Architect and Revolent alumnus
Since his deployment at one of the world’s largest professional services networks, Miraj has been working on a range of exciting cloud projects. His favorite project to date was for the council of one of London’s largest boroughs. The council commissioned his client to improve the contact centre efficiency for the council and introduce more innovative ways to connect with its 100,000+ residents. The council had limited resources, so it was paramount that Miraj and the team of Revols he was part of came up with and implemented a cost-effective solution. The most exciting part was that the project was led solely by him and four other Revols, working on their own initiative.
Miraj has also received awards for his commitment, passion, and drive including Revol Ambassador of the Year and Revol Team of the Year 2022. He was also the 2023 finalist of the prestigious MCA award for Performance Improvement in the Public Sector. It’s little surprise that Miraj has been offered a permanent managerial position with the client, which he has since accepted.
After establishing a solid career as an Aerospace/Maritime Engineer and working on some of the most complex engineering projects in the UK, Miraj took a bold step and switched his career to cloud computing. While working in the defense industry was fascinating, projects there tended to span decades. Miraj wanted to work in an environment that was faster-paced and offered more opportunities for innovation. And even though the cloud is an entirely different sector, he knew he had some key transferable skills: a technical mindset, effective stakeholder management, a personable approach, and good communication skills.
