Whether you are at the beginning of your career in the cloud, a seasoned professional looking to add another certification to your resume, or just looking for something new to learn, the Salesforce ecosystem is packed full of inclusive, intuitive, and innovative places to discover.

Finding the right training for your goals can be tricky though. Plus, training is a significant investment in time and money and not everyone has the budget to spend on expensive training courses, so we’ve put together a list of the best free Salesforce training websites and resources.

#1 Trailhead

It would be foolish not to start with Salesforce’s very own learning platform Trailhead. Launched in 2014, Trailhead breaks down the barriers to learning and provides an equal pathway into the Salesforce ecosystem. All you need is an internet connection and a Trailhead account, and you can begin learning Salesforce. The best bit is that all the content is broken down into bitesize chunks, so you can set aside a bit of time whenever you want to learn.

All the online learning comes with practical hands on-sessions inside a free copy of Salesforce so you can put your knowledge into practice without worry. Once you’ve completed a module, you can take an assessment quiz or challenge to earn a Trailhead Badge which can be added to your community profile.

#2 Apex Hours

Apex Hours is a learning platform that provides several different courses all led by members of the Salesforce community who aim to share their knowledge and push the community forward. Apex offers both in-person and online learning events where you can connect and learn together. It’s not just frequent sessions it offers—the Apex YouTube is packed full of previous sessions, so if you can’t attend you can still gain the knowledge. The channel has over 300 videos, so it’s perfect in case you need a quick re-fresh on a particular subject
Apex also has a series of free courses that anyone can take, including introductory courses on Lighting Web Components, Flow Building, and Salesforce CPQ.

#4 Gemma Blezard

Gemma Blezard is a Salesforce MVP and Trailblazer who’s been in the Salesforce ecosystem since 2008 and runs Learn Salesforce with Gemma on YouTube.

Each week, Gemma Introduces different subjects to help people reskill and develop while the world was under lockdown in 2020. Gemma also provides homework that runs alongside each week. The course is still available for anyone to do in their own time.

#5 Salesforce Ben

Salesforce Ben provides a wide range of materials to help anyone interested in Salesforce Certifications, including free resources to help prepare for certification exams as well advice on choosing the right Salesforce career path, and how to secure your first job in the ecosystem.

He even has a practice exam for Salesforce Administrator for free.

Midwest Dreamin is organized by Salesforce Hall of Fame and MVP Eric Dreshfeild and has been running for over 10 years. Midwest Dreamin started as a small gathering of Salesforce professionals and has turned into an annual event in the Salesforce calendar.

#8 London’s Calling

London’s Calling is the biggest Salesforce community gathering in Europe where both in-person and online attendees come together for a day of knowledge sharing, keynote speeches, and workshops organized by the community champions. The 2022 event is set to be the first in-person event in over two years.

#9 MVPs

Inside the Salesforce community is a group of passionate members who share their knowledge and for those who go above and beyond are recognized as MVPs, including Amanda Beard-Nelson, Enrico Murru and Rakesh Gupta. Amanda is one of the co-organizers of London’s Calling as well as a Salesforce community group leader.
