Increase the representation of First Nations Australians in your workforce

Brought to you by:

Australia’s First Nations peoples have been innovating and inventing for over 60,000 years. Despite this storied history, as some of the world’s oldest technologists, they are still vastly underrepresented within the tech industry.

For companies committed to boosting the representation of First Nations Australians across their workforce, we recognise that building an in-house solution can be challenging to do it alone.

Fortunately, the Indigenous Tech Academy (ITA) can help

Established in February 2022, in collaboration between Revolent, PwC’s Indigenous Consulting (PIC), and Salesforce, the ITA was designed to help people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds launch amazing careers in Salesforce. And the results to date have been astounding. Not only is the ITA opening new doors to young adults, but it is also encouraging more women to launch careers in Salesforce, with 75% of ITA’s first cohort’s Salesforce consultants identifying as female.

With our first Salesforce-certified cohort of ITA consultants successfully working on-site with PIC, we are now looking to replicate this success, with the launch of our next ITA cohort. We are inviting other organisations operating in Australia to partake.

Listen to our webinar — co-hosted by Salesforce, PIC, and Revolent — to learn more about the ITA, our unique training program, and success stories from the first cohort.

How does the ITA's talent creation program work?

The ITA is a 10-week paid cloud bootcamp, designed to equip the participants with not just Salesforce-accredited certifications, but also crucial consultancy skills and plenty of practical application. The ITA consultants spend 60% of their training time working on a range of tech tasks and real-life projects before they’re placed at one of our client organisations to complete their work placement.

Revolent recruits a wide range of talent for the ITA. From high school leavers to experienced professionals looking to transition into Salesforce. Revolent will work with you to find the right candidates to meet your unique requirements while offering new career paths & boosting Indigenous representation in your workforce.

Other program highlights include:

Opportunity to earn badges and superbadges within the Salesforce ecosystem

Ongoing support and development from a team of professionals, specifically tailored for First Nations people, who are seeking a career change

A robust training program with globally recognised Salesforce certifications
