You don’t need any prior experience with AWS to join us. Our cross-training programs are fully funded and combine training, certifications, and up to two years of paid work experience.

Throughout your training, you’ll take part in an extensive range of hands-on labs to cover all core services of AWS. You’ll also undertake extended assignment labs to help you develop real-world experience, before progressing onto a work placement with one of our global clients, including market-leading companies, tech giants, and AWS end-users.

What’s included in the program?

Our training goes well beyond just certifications, allowing you to accelerate your cross-training journey. You’ll spend 60% of your time working on hands-on tasks and real-life projects, while gaining soft skills, such as effective communication, and project and stakeholder management, so you can make an impact from day one of your work placement.

Our AWS careers pathways

AWS Data Specialist

Data Specialists are an important part of any organization using AWS. Their duties typically include building and updating data warehouses, creating and maintaining the data storage framework, designing storage solutions, and ensuring data is organized logically. 

AWS DevOps

AWS DevOps Specialists help to narrow the gap between developers and other IT specialists and work across the entire lifecycle of an application. They are typically responsible for automation, integration, and coding. 

AWS Engineer/Architect

AWS Engineers and Architects cover a range of services, helping to convert requirements into technical solutions. Typically, their role involves building highly-scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective architectures, and utilizing best practices to ensure business continuity.

AWS Security Engineer

AWS Security Engineers are excellent communicators and critical thinkers, who work cross-functionally to deliver solutions that protect the company’s data. They can often be found researching solutions and conducting cost analyses, deploying CloudFormation tools, and onboarding new applications.

AWS Software Engineer

AWS Software Engineers do more than just code, they are ‘builders’ who enjoy problem-solving and experimenting with new ideas. Their role typically involves deploying and debugging cloud-based applications, designing and implementing features, and implementing full-stack interfaces.

Requirements for the Revolent AWS Careers Program

The Revolent AWS Career Program is suited for highly-motivated tech professionals, who are interested in becoming world-class AWS professionals.

To be considered, you’ll need prior experience in technology in a commercial setting. Experience in Supply Chain or Financial Services will be an assetand experience working on one full software development lifecycle is preferred (but not essential).

What happens after you complete the Revolent program?

Once you’ve completed our training program, you’ll be an experienced and sought-after AWS professional. From here, the sky’s the limit.
